Tyler Schmitt brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including a decade at Franklin Templeton where he developed deep understanding in portfolio construction, investment analysis, and disciplined risk management. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst^® (CIMA^®, Tyler helps clients translate complex financial decisions into clear, actionable strategies aligned with their long-term goals.

In 2023 Tyler and his family made the decision to relocate from California to Buffalo to join Hightower Buffalo and play an important role in the practice’s continued growth, serving business owners and multi-generational families.

Tyler lives in Williamsville with his wife and their two children, Judah and Giada. Outside the office he enjoys traveling, visiting wineries, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
